I fell into the same trap of...Great article Auki. <br /><br />I fell into the same trap of getting confused about all the varying opinions on literally every lense, body and setting available. <br /><br />Once I learned to ignore 90% of the average Joe comments and opinions, and instead start to think about the end-result I wanted; I found that it became a lot easier to make a decision on the equipment. I also found Deviant-Art to be a great resource. The photography section usually contains XIF data in the images, so I could 'cheat' and see what they had used to get the same effect (after-effects being a legit minefield though).
