Auki Henry Photography started out as a secondary by-product from my interest in video capable DSLR's. Wanting to indulge my interest in cinematic 'looks' for some of the motion projects I was working on I invested in Canon's variable frame rate capable 7D and began to experiment as the techniques for filming DSLR are a lot different to shooting with camera's dedicated to video.
Inevitably I made the transition to stills photography because the equipment was available to do so. I have also been fortunate enough to have the ongoing mentoring and encouragement of already well known and established Darwin photographers.
I found a passion and a local niche for people photography and have worked with musicians, bands, and models from around Australia.

Auki Henry currently presents for north Australian motor sports show HighRPM. In his spare time he also works freelance as a producer and photographer.
