Well when this message (pasted below) was received by email this morning it would have come as a shock to many creative writers in the space. To me it seemed almost like it came out of nowhere but then again I have not been active on Narrative for a couple of months now.
As a reward platform for writers Narrative was starting to show some glimmer of promise, but like many before it it would seem the forces of fate (in whatever form) have conspired to shut it down. Or as more gently put by the Narrative team "Sunsetting"
From a purely crypto perspective the rewards gained during the platform's time alive could be considered worthless now. Particularly for those writers who heavily invested their time an effort and earned hundreds of dollars worth of the token.
I had not checked back on the token since I threw some spare NEO at it during its capital raise days (yes I got involved that far back). On receiving the notification that "Narrative was Sunsetting" I immediately did a quick check for NRVE on Coinmarket Cap to see a rather sad overall global volume traded in the last week in USD on just two exchanges and just two market pairs
- Bilaxy (NRVE/ETH
- Switcheo Network (NRVE/NEO)
And yet despite a lack of fluidity you can see the large increase in sell-offs occurring already, likely as a result of this announcement.
Although it may seem a nice farewell to members that Narrative.org have lifted minimum cap withdrawal
"There is no minimum withdrawal restriction in place, effective immediately"
If there are any Narrators out there who have some opinions about this I'd love to hear from you in the comments below!

Wow, I only joined up a month ago. Luckily I didn't even get time to post! Sympathy for those who were heavily invested in creating for the platform but I guess there will be other platforms out there to yet be discovered.
